The art of making lotus tea in Vietnam dates
back hundreds of years. This rare tea is made by taking a lotus flower bud and very carefully peeling back the petals without a single rip or tear, then placing about two grams of tea into each bud and then closing up the bud around the tea. After several hours, the scent of the lotus has produced a tea that can only be described as heavenly.
